About Me
I’m a Canadian event and production freelancer based in London, with hands-on experience across live events, festivals, corporate projects, and large-scale productions. My background is rooted in event logistics, coordination, and on-the-ground operations, supporting teams from build to delivery.

My interest in events started very early. From the age of five, I volunteered at events alongside my parents, helping wherever I could. One of my earliest roles was volunteering at the same major sporting event year after year, working on the end-of-race refreshments table. That experience sparked my love for the events industry, and I’ve been building my skills and experience ever since.
How it started
Professional Background
Later on, I completed an internship with Tourism Bromont as an Event Assistant. This led to almost two years of freelance work with their events team. After finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Marketing, I moved to London to pursue a Master’s in Event Management.
Where I am now
I am now based in the UK, working across a wide range of event operations, production support, and on-site coordination roles. My goal is to continue developing my skill set while working towards a career as an Event Manager.
My first event
“One experience really confirmed that events were what I wanted to do.”
During high school, I studied in an International Baccalaureate programme, which included a graduation trip to Guatemala. Everything was planned and booked, but on prom night a volcano erupted, forcing the trip to be cancelled. With no time to organise an alternative for such a large group, everyone was understandably disappointed.
I decided we should still celebrate finishing high school. At 17, I independently planned and delivered the entire trip, managing budgeting, logistics, accommodation, food, and group coordination for 60 students. That experience confirmed my interest in event management and showed me how much I enjoy bringing people together, even in challenging situations.
That experience showed me how much I enjoy creating meaningful experiences, even in high-pressure or unexpected situations.
